SWANBLADE

D.K. KRISTOF'S

"HEROES DON'T FALL BECAUSE THEY ARE WEAK, KAYLA.
THEY FALL BECAUSE THEY STAND WHERE OTHERS CAN'T."

Swanblade follows ballerina Kayla McAllister, the strong-willed daughter of retired superhero and war veteran Captain Atomic Ace, in an alternate 1950s world spiraling into chaos. After a devastating attack leaves her a triple amputee, Kayla receives experimental prosthetics and is thrust into a rising storm. As she battles old enemies and new threats, Kayla struggles with vengeance and legacy in becoming the symbol her city desperately needs.
