Jezebel is a former Soviet Confederation operative, assassin, and one of the most dangerous adversaries faced by Captain John “Buck” McAllister during the Atomic Age.

Operating in New Radion Bay under the guise of a lounge singer, Jezebel served as both mob-affiliated assassin and foreign intelligence asset. Her actions directly contributed to the 1932 reactor incident that transformed Buck into Captain Atomic Ace.

After her capture, she was incarcerated in the Ice Cube Cryogenic Detention Facility, where she remained suspended for thirteen years. In Year Zero, she is released during the Ice Cube breach, marking her return to a city - and a man - she once nearly destroyed.

EARLY LIFE

Jezebel’s birth name is not publicly documented.

According to Ice Cube archival files referenced in Year Zero, she was kidnapped as a child and subjected to genetic experimentation tied to Soviet Confederation black programs using recovered extraterrestrial DNA. The procedures altered her physiology, granting her abilities that far exceeded normal human limits, including active camouflage, razor sharp talons, and the ability to shift between her human and altered "alien" form.

By adulthood, she operated as a covert assassin across multiple continents, eliminating targets with precision while maintaining a cultivated public persona.

In New Radion Bay, she embedded herself within organized crime circles while posing as a nightclub singer. Her performance style was elegant and disarming — calculated to conceal lethal intent.  She had a turbulent relationship with Vincenzo "Steel Maw" Esposito before his capture and arrest.

Her operational history culminated in her involvement with the sabotage that led to the 1932 reactor crisis. Though details remain classified within Takeda Dynamics archives, John McAllister ultimately uncovered her role and was forced to apprehend her personally. By then, they had developed a relationship following his wife's death. John had tried desperately to help Jezebel, but she had given up on redemption long before falling in love with John.

IN YEAR ZERO

In Year Zero, Jezebel is reintroduced through Simon Langley’s obsession.

Simon, an archivist at the Ice Cube, develops a fixation on her during his tenure at the facility. Following his termination and calculated infiltration of the prison’s systems, he disables automated defenses and initiates her thaw cycle. Her first interaction with Simon establishes dominance immediately. Though she spares him, it is clear she views him as a tool rather than an ally.

Simon proposes a new era — one without John “Buck” McAllister. At the mention of Buck’s name, Jezebel reacts with visible complexity. Their shared history lingers beneath her composure.

In contrast to her cold assassin persona, flashes of conflict surface. Her motivations in Year Zero blend revenge, unfinished emotion, and opportunistic chaos.
